One reason this “Message Failed to Send” alert might appear to be specific to Android users is likely because sending a message to another iPhone user will result in an iMessage being sent. This is a red herring.
I was having the same problem and all of the notions expressed in this thread did indeed pop into my mind as well. I am now subscribed as a Credo Network user and, as evident from this thread, it does not appear to be a provider specific issue. After exhausting all the notions I could come up with, I finally called Credo Tech Support; they had me execute a network reset on my iPhone and the problem has completely resolved. For those who might not be aware of the reset feature: - Open Settings - Select General - Locate and select the Reset Button (Second control from the bottom of the “General” dialog box just above the “Shutdown” button. - Identify and select the “Network Reset line. You will be required to enter your password and confirm you want to execute this reset.
