When I got my phone, I didn’t set up a passcode at first because I wasn’t sure I could dial the passcode on the phone itself. I’m still not good at this skill at all. When I updated to version 12, all of a sudden it comes up and asks for my passcode at random, and it seems like it’s more often than it was formerly. If I go to take the passcode away, Apple gets all excited and says it’s going to declare my phone a disaster area (smile) And before anyone says it, yes, I know the security risks of letting anybody and his brother into my phone. It’s one thing if it comes up and asks for the passcode and I’m at home where I can grab the blue tooth keyboard and key it’s in. It’s another thing if I’m out somewhere and go to use the phone, but it won’t let me in, and I have to try and type on the phone’s keypad, which I still have not mastered. Is there some setting where I can control how often I am prompted for the passcode, or am I doomed here? Susie
