Hi Mark, In the past I've usually waited before downloading a new IOS. This time I downloaded 13 right off the bat and have regretted it ever since. My phone was so wonkey I did have to take it to the Apple store. I felt lucky I got away with only going once and another session on the phone with Apple disability. So what they did was took it back to factory settings, put IOS 13 on. They changed the battery, they said some of what was happening was battery related. As I'm saying this, I just had another idea. So even though they changed the battery, since then it has problems over heating at various times. When I text for just a few minutes it gets very hot. Other times and with other applications it will heat up in different parts of the phone, nothing consistently though. The texting is the only consistent thing. Richard suggested getting them to run diagnostics on the phone. If there were a battery issue that would show up then wouldn't it? Teresa☺
