With the advent of iOS I’ve become an Old Time Radio fan and have several OTR apps (i.e. , Johnny Dollar, Challenge of the Yukon, etc).
However, since I’ve installed iOS 13 on my iPhone 8, these apps no longer work effectively with VoiceOver. Apparently, a number of these apps are essentially the same program - only being named differently to identify the suite of OTR episodes to access (eg, the Gunsmoke app accesses Gunsmoke episodes and the Johnny Dollar app will likewise access only those specific episodes). I’m able to select the season (eg, Gunsmoke episodes from 1952) but when attempting to select a specific episode the app seems to be stuck on the status line. If I turn VoiceOver off, i can then select one of the episodes for that season, but with no idea as to which episode i’m selecting. This is not a problem if one can read the screen visually. I have written to the developer of this app(s) and have not gotten any feedback.
