Hi Sherry,

I guess I should mention that there is also another way to get to the Updates
screen in the App Store. Some find this easier, I personally don’t since it can
easily involve more gestures, but her eit is:

1. Double tap and hold on the App Store icon, when you let go Voiceover will
say “Dismiss context menu”.
You now have a menu on the screen which, apart from the “Dismiss Context menu”
item contains 6 more items:
App Store – this will simply open the App Store
Search button – this takes you directly where you can search for an app
Redeem button – this will take you to the place where you can redeem a gift card
Updates – this is your Updates area, it will take you to the same screen as
opening the App Store and tapping on My Account
Purchased – this will show you a list of your purchased apps
Edit Home Screen – this is where you hear “started editing” which is if you
want to drag or delete an app.

The Updates, Redeem and Purchased items are also all there in App Store > My
Account
Updates is not a tab any more, it’s part of the My Account screen and it’s a
heading so you could also go to App Store > My Account, turn the rotor to
headings and then swipe down, but I find it easier when I’m there just to touch
maybe an inch or so above the home button, if you are too high you may land on
Add Funds to Apple Id or Personalized Recommendations, in that case just swipe
right once or twice.

Regards,
Sieghard

After going to the App Store, swipe right until you hear “My Account”, double
tap, then touch the screen a little above the home button and you’ll find your
updates including an update all button.

Subject: How to Update Apps in Current Version of IOS

Hello all,

I recently got a new IPhone, an 8. On my old 5S which was still running IOS 12
something, I could update apps by going to the app store, selecting the update
tab at the bottom then selecting update all. Now I go to the app store & there
is no update tab at the bottom. The tabs are Today, Games, Apps, Arcade &
search. I looked around in the Apps, Search & Today tabs but found no way to
do updates. I’m sure I’m missing something obvious. How do I update apps?

Thanks,
Sherry Wells
