Any good Bluetooth headset with multi-point will do this perfectly, one example is the voyager Edge single earpiece. If connected to both my iPhone and my Apple Watch I can use it with my iPhone and if I touch my Apple Watch it instantly switches to the watch and back to the phone within a second or two after the watch goes to sleep. I really don't understand why Apple's own product which costs twice as much as most others and is supposed to be the future of wireless still can't do this.
