Someone on this list I believe sent the steps so I saved the message and here it is: Here’s what I did that finally worked. I double-tapped the number or name at the top of the message from whom the message was sent. Then, I scrolled to the info button and double-tapped on it. There I got to a details screen where I once again double-tapped on the name or number of the person I wanted to block. This opened up a screen in my contacts list, probably the same one found under recents. I scrolled down to the bottom of the screen and found the block caller option. I double-tapped on that and then double-tapped in the appropriate place to confirm that I wanted to block the caller. I understand we’re talking about text messages here, but when you get to that screen it says Block This Caller. Hope this helps!
