Shirly, you may want to askabout prepaid services. That is actually what I have with Verizon. Again, if u buy from a local store, just make sure the Iphone is not locked to a given carrier. You could verify by double checking the imei number with apple. I suggest this to keep u from going through the nightmare I went through when I was bringing a phone to Verizon.
