I tried to trade my 6 with Verizon and they couldn't take it because I had filed a claim with Asurion because my other phone got damaged so when I tried to trade the one Asurion gave me, it showed up as being stolen, even though Verizon Wireless knew I did not steal it. They told me that sometimes happens with refurbished phones but I will be able to trade my 6S plus in and I plan on paying the rest off so I don't have to pay for a new phone over 24 months or however long that might be after the trade in.
