Hi all After any advice/help from people on this list with this situation. I’ve ordered a new IPhone SE, and have just had confirmation of its despatch. So have some questions re setting it up which I’m hoping people might be able to assist with.
Firstly, I know this sounds somewhat daft, but if anyone could e-mail me some idiot-proof instructions on how to set it up from scratch, including on how to get Voiceover started from the word go I’d be really grateful please?. I’m far more nervous about doing it than normal, probably because I know all the shops are closed, and sighted friends who would normally be able to assist me can’t do so at the moment due to the lockdown. So any step-by-step guide much appreciated. Secondly, is it better to set the phone up over the air?, or is it better to set it up through my Mac? I ask this because my Mac is currently away being fixed/serviced. So I just wondered whether it would make any difference which way I did it?, and if so whether I should wait for my Mac to return before attempting set-up? Finally, can anyone send me some step-by-step idiots instructions on how to swap my SIM card over from my currrent IPhone 8 to the new SE?? I’ve never done this before, and again, in normal times I’d happily get sighted help with this, but obviously I can’t do that right now. So any help appreciated. My apologies for all the questions, but I really don’t want to make a mess of this/muck it up completely/ruin the new phone/etc. So many thanks in advance for any help/advice that anyone can give me.
