thanks. its going to take me a lot of practice. I tried it but I am not good at
it. I got to the app switcher one time, but that was it.
I'll keep practicing.

  1 finger,

Start on the bottom edge just off the screen surface and slide smoothly and
not too fast up until you hear a second tone, there should also be a haptic
vibration.

Lift your finger and that takes you to the home screen.

The same gesture, but at the third sound or second vibration will take you to
the app switcher.

It takes some practice, and if you start hearing the usual screen clicks you
get with VoiceOver, you aren’t starting at the right place. It has to be a
smooth slide.

  HTH,

I just got the IPhone x. I am not used to not having a home button. Can
someone guide me on what is the best way to swipe to access it? I'm not really
good at swiping, as usually with my old phone I did everything manually and I
didnt swipe much. Its telling me to swipe from the bottom of the screen
upwards, until I hear it vibrate once. how many fingers do I use to swipe, and
how fast do I swipe the screen?
