Hi Lisa. Usually I hold the power button for about 3 seconds and then I
see the Apple logo. On my iPhone 4 with iOS 6 it takes about 42-45
seconds to boot up. I don't know what else you want me to tell you when
it boots up, all I see is the Apple Screen and when the slide to unlock
screen comes up Voiceover is usually turned on. HTH.
