I for one as a blind person find this information invaluable. As often where I live we can have heat lightning I.E. lightning which occurs without any accompanying thunder. thus having no light perception I appreciate knowing when lightning has been detected nearby. I find that Weather Radio and The Weather Channel apps are the most accurate when it comes to such alerts in my area of the Eastern United States. I hope that helps. Take good care and be safe one and all. Robin On 6/21/2020 5:49 AM, Simon A Fogarty wrote: If an app is going to tell you when lightening has struck, I don't see the point? If it's struck then it's not an issue And if you're worried about it striking you when you're out, Then if it's already struck, it will be way to late to look at your phone as neither yu or your phone will be working. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> <[email protected]><mailto:[email protected]> On Behalf Of Jennie Facer Sent: Sunday, 21 June 2020 9:00 AM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Lightning alert Hi, I have had Weather Gods for quite some time, and it has never alerted me to when lightning has struck.
