Since I began this thread about screen brightness, let me chime in just long enough to say, that I to have the problem of screen brightness creeping up as days go by no matter whether auto brightness is on or off and, screen curtain and auto brightness have both been taken care of with this issue. So it must just be a bug that we have to check on every once in a while.
