From what I’ve read, it sounds like the best 5G rural area coverage is T-Mobile. They don’t use millimeterwave. That’s the really fast stuff. But it also doesn’t go anywhere and isn’t available anywhere except for major metro areas. So I wonder if getting a new phone with a better modem and it would solve your problem. If you get an iPhone 12, you will be dealing with face ID. You could always decide to get an SE 2020. Or if that rumored SE plus comes out, you would have the same form factor as an 8+, with a better battery, and presumably a home button. Ased for a book, I’m not sure what to recommend. The biggest thing is the gestures, because there’s no home button. And you don’t really need a whole book for that. Maybe it’s even describe somewhere on AppleVis.
