One thing the article does not mention is if you opt to drop the package off, you are given a timeframe to do so, like a month. If you do not drop it off for mailing within the month, you may be charged for the return. This happened to my wife a few months ago. She ordered a mug, and it arrived broken. She requested a return, but kept forgetting to drop the package off at the UPS store. After the allotted month return, we were charged a fee for not returning the mug.
