Hi Les, It works for me on my 11 pro max 99% of the time The one thing I’d say to check is that the attention setting is turned off in the face id settings,
This wants you to look at the camera to unlock the screen, If you turn this off, it takes that requirement away and you can have more luck. Note though that this should be disabled / off if you have voiceover on from the start of setup. The other thing I’ve found glair from the sun can affect the face id also, As well as not pointing it directly towards your face. Hope this helps.
