Hi,

I like you Richard prefer notifications on my phone because they have more varied sounds which is why I turned off all the notifications I could on the watch outside of health related things as I'm rarely without my phone nearby and find them much easier to identify and manage via the phone. Glad it isn't just me who felt this way. But I recognize others may not.  I wish the watch could have more differing sounds as the phones can. Can't imagine why it couldn't do so.

Take good care.

Robin

Hi,

I just figured out that if I turn off message notifications on the watch, then I get them on the phone.

IN my case, since I won’t likely ever be anywhere without the phone, I prefer it that way.

Sometimes, the subtle vibration isn’t catching my attention.

If the watch played a sound rather than just the vibration, that might have been OK.

Yes, I am not getting my text message tone on my phone anymore. Weirdly, I’m getting it on my old phone, to which the watch is not paired, and which does not have a Sim card, although it is on the same Wi-Fi network as the watch and my phone that has a Sim card. But my real phone, the one I actually text with, no more message sound.

Since I got my watch, when I receive a text message, I get a vibration on the watch, but absolutely nothing out of my phone.

Email sounds, ringtone, both work on the phone, anyone else finding that the message alerts go silent on the phone because of the watch?  Any solution?
