The main point of the Logitech H800 is not it's superb sound quality although it's OK, it's also not things like noise cancelling which it doesn't have, it's the fact it's half the weight of most over-the-ear headsets which for my taste are way too big and ehavy, it's the fact that it sits "on" the ear and not "over" the ears and I find this way less hot and more comfortable and primarily it's the fact that this headset can be used in Bluetooth mode or with a USB dongle on a laptop or computer. Of course if you have a desktop which doesn't have Bluetooth this is great, but even if you have a computer with Bluetooth, using the headset with the included USB dongle on a PC is far preferable because it's much more responsive, there is none of the typical Bluetooth lag which even with the best Bluetooth 5 headsets is still there and there is none of the audio issues which sometimes happen where the first part of a word it cut off. This can apparently be avoided by running a program like Silenzio or to use this functionality in Jaws where it is now built in, essentially you are sending white noise to the soundcard so it doesn't go into any sort of sleepmode. None of this is an issue with the Logitech H800 so if you want a good, comfortable headset for mostly screenreader speech or audio books this is a fantastic choice.
