Just a thought. Plugging in your iPAD should force it to turn on. That at least resolves whether or not it's on presuming no power outage or cable issues. After that, it's all about making certain the thing isn't muted or the volume is too low. Hit the volume up button a few times. After a moment, hit the side button. That should result in some noise. I guess there's always a small chance that your iPAD has gotten an update. There's one due out pretty soon. Plugging it in and waiting is about the only other thing I can think of presuming you have nobody with sight who can look at it. Hope that helps. It's always nerve-racking when silence holds sway.
