I plugged it in and nothing happened I checked the volume up and down

isn't muted or the volume is too low. Hit the volume up button a few
times. After a moment, hit the side button. That should result in some
noise. I guess there's always a small chance that your iPAD has gotten
an update. There's one due out pretty soon. Plugging it in and waiting
is about the only other thing I can think of presuming you have nobody
with sight who can look at it. Hope that helps. It's always
nerve-racking when silence holds sway.

I had have a set of AirPods that I didn’t realize one of them got
lost and was out of the case and could not figure out why my iPad

it. Finally my brother found an AirPod on the floor underneath the
