I do remember emails being available through my later nokia Symbian phones, And at last check of this the sims were doing up to 256Kb of storage Which can be a lot of text.

When my friend migrated from Symbian to an iPhone back in May he had a lot of contacts he wanted to transfer over to his iPhone. What I did was this. On his Windows 10 machine I navigated to his Contacts folder under his user profile. Having exported the VCF files to a memory card from the Symbian phone I imported the contacts into Windows10. I then synchronised contacts via iTunes to his iPhone and they were transferred. You have to be careful what field labels are in your VCF files as not all items will be transferred. The iPhone is fussy about labels such as mobile but I can’t remember which ones caused trouble now. However VCF files can be freely edited if difficulties arise. It says she can export the contacts on her android into a VCF file and then email them to herself. She did this with the file attached to the email. Now on her SE she opens the email and touches the attachment. It gives her lots of choices but none of them are for importing the contacts. It even acts like it doesn't recognize it as a VCF file.
