I’m sure it has to do with the Bluetooth radios used in the Streams 2nd Generation and Treks. These devices use really old technology, that hasn't updated since the devices were introduced many years ago, and were not state of the art even then. Apple on the other hand, uses current state of the art technology, and always has been a leader in the industry.
