I can't keep Airpods in my ears either. I understand you can buy little
stirrup type things that go over the ear, but you have to take them off
whenever you put the airpods back in the case. One of the attractions of
the max i was thinking is to get that Airpod great sound without having to
deal with the issue of losing them.

My understanding is that, yes, the AirPods Pro Max can pair with non-Apple
devices. However, if you have a problem pairing your original AirPods
with your Trek, I would expect you will also have a problem pairing any
other AirPod model with the Trek as well.
