I’m also not sure how someone could conclude that the Airpod Pro’s are so much easier to work with without actually having experience with both products. I have the Airpod Pro’s myself, and I’m tempted by the Airpod Maxes, so I’m paying attention to these threads. Most of what I’m hearing seems to be around connectivity issues, and I wouldn’t think these would be fundamentally different between the Pros and the Maxes. Although my Pros have been great, I’ve had the occasional issue pairing them to my iPhone and my PC. I’ve always been able to resolve any issue I’ve encountered though. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a pair of Maxes based on what I’ve read on this list to this point. I’m not sure they’re for me though, since I’m not sure I can justify the price, especially since I already have the Pros. I haven’t really seen a convincing use case where I would see myself grabbing the Maxes enough to justify the cost. This is just my own personal subjective opinion though.

Some of the issues, at least for me, were user error. But, given the cost in NZ, I certinly would not buy them without an absolute guarantee that I could get a full refund.
