Mary, The TouchFire was a Kickstarter project. The TouchFire is a keyboard overlay that goes over the onscreen keyboard of the iPad. The idea is to provide you a more tactile experience when typing. The TouchFire works very well and you can get a lot more info at http://www.touchfire.com. Basically the TouchFire is a rubbery-type material that has nibs that face the screen of the iPad (has bumps on F and J) and is held in place by magnets. As you touch the screen it activates the characters when you are using the touch typing mode. I really like it and I have been able to even turn VO off so I can really type up a storm. Of course the error rate goes up a little. :) Really nice alternative to the bluetooth keyboard.
