I have never had this problem. I do know that during the download process, it does take a while before the percentage shows up, for me about 10-15%. Same behavior for the installation, about 5-10% before the percentage & time are displayed. I’ve always chalked up the slight delay to the system gathering download time based on my wifi speed.
