The 50Mb thing is a limitation Apple placed on downloading from the store
over cellular networks, not Verizon or any other carier. As far as the
tunein radio in mono thing, I'm sure that's done to also conserve data, so
it's not really an issue.

One of my coworkers, who has an android phone and also is on Verizon, says
he has never gotten the warning from audible about a file being more than 50
meg, he can download, over the Verizon network, whatever file size he
wishes. Also, his TuneIn radio plays in stereo. Mine does not.

Hi,

I don't see what the problem is? I guess I'm confused on what you're trying
to say? This doesn't' really seem like a problem, unless I'm missing
something.

I guess that is what I can call it, although I just went to testmy.net, and
it says I get 6.43 meg down and 1.52 meg up. My router has not come yet, so
I can't say if this problem would be on wifi, too.

Here are the symptoms that something isn't right. On Sunday, I tried to
download a small book from audible, and it told me the file was over 50 meg
and that I would have to download it via wifi, or ITunes. Surely, this is
not a Verizon issue, they hope I go over my data limit so they can make more
money.

Then, last night, I installed the TuneIn Radio and NPR news apps. Both these
apps play the radio in what sounds like compressed monno. Both of them also
buffer a lot. I have tried several stations, using both apps, with the same
result.

I called Verizon, thinking that I perhaps had some kind of data restriction
on my account, and they said I do not. I have looked several times through
the settings in this phone, hoping to find something to change, and have not
found anything. When I looked through the cellular settings, it said LTE
was on.

Any ideas?
