May I suggest that especially with the new remote, Apple TV is wonderful, and the only part that is sometimes a bit tricky, are the third party apps, like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, HBO Max, and perhaps others, but it is so simple to turn on Audio Description for many of these apps that I would not use any other device. Of course, if you have Apple TV Plus, all of their original programming is audio described, as is just about all Netflix programming as well.
I do know, but not from firsthand experience, that the Roku app with a Smart TV is supposed to be accessible, but there are so many different Roku devices, that each one is different, and you turn on accessibility options differently, depending on the Roku device that you are using.
