Hello Janet. Unfortunately, when it comes to accessible games, the odds are pretty low that a game featured in one of these lists will turn out to be accessible. It does happen every so often, but I'd be careful spending money on a game before you check on the Applevis site. At the very least, you should carefully read the description in the app store. Most of the time, developers will indicate if they've put effort into making a game accessible. I would also strongly recommend that you visit the Applevis site at: Www.applevis.com And look in the app directory which has a section dedicated to games. In that directory, you'll find information on how accessible a game is and can read comments from blind people who have tried it. This way, you won't end up having to request a refund for a game which proves to be inaccessible. Of course, if you do come across a game where the description makes it seem likely that a game could be accessible, it's perfectly possible that the blindf community at large simply hasn't discovered it yet. You might very well find the next big hit. Also, if you find a game you really wish were accessible, it never hurts to contact the app developer and let them know of your interest. There are plenty of examples of games which have been made accessible once their developers have been contacted by blind people and made aware of accesssibility tools built into Apple products. Six Ages is a tremendous example of this. So is Dice World. I wish you the best of luck in your search for Summer fun. On Mon, Aug 9, 2021 at 4:22 AM Janet Bell <tagli...@gmail.com> wrote:
