Interesting Alan, Actually, I don't have a headphone with a lightning plug, but this configuration would work in the event that I needed to charge my phone while using the Mic. I assume you can also get an adapter with a lightning port and a 3.5 MM female jack to plug a headphone in to as well?

I know this cable will allow you to both charge with one of the ports and do something else with the other port but I’m not sure both the microphone and headset would work when plugged into it.
