I think with all these devices, they need to be pretty perpendicular before turning them over so it knows; if it's pretty flat on your lap and turn it around, there's nothing to sense; it would need a compass to detect that.

Have any other Mini owners noticed anything like this? If not, I may have to take a trip down to the Apple store and see what's up. Also, how are Mini owners typing on the device, by using thumbs or some other method not including Fleksy as I haven't gotten it installed yet. I'm so used to my 4s and typing on it by just using a few fingers on my right hand that I'm finding the Mini a little harder to get used to. I'd appreciate any tips on this. I do love the device however and share the opinion that others have already expressed here on the list. The size is absolutely perfect, very easy to hold and use.
