Malcolm pointed me to the right place. VoiceOver settings, verbosity, action. If play a sound is selected, that is the sound. However, for me, having speak selected kept the sound going even though that was not selected. I changed it to do nothing, and the sound is gone. I figure I know if I can take an action on an item without that loody noise or words. To be safe, I also set More Content to do nothing and will see if I end up needing to change that. Thanks.
