For those experiencing Voiceover issues with the Amazon app or any other app, with the app running, engage the rotor until Screen recognition is announced and make sure it is off. I’ve found this corrected more than one app where Voiceover wasn’t saying much of anything when trying to swipe and I found Screen recognition was on and turning it off corrected the problem.
