Does this really install multiple copies of the app or just give you multiple icons to the same app? I'd assume it's just the same app with multiple icons, like if you have the Mail app running and you can get to it from either the Mail app on your home page or the App Switcher.

Hi, It is possible, though, to have more than one instance of an app on your phone. You could have an icon that opens Pages on your first home screen and another on a page with apps you use for work, for example. To do that, open App Library, enter Edit mode, and drag the app to whichever home screen you want.
