Hi Richard, That's odd. I just removed a couple of apps from one Home screen, and they were still on another. Be sure to choose Remove from Home Screen rather than Delete. And yes, I'm quite sure that when you have an app icon on more than one screen, each one is pointing to the same app; you don't have multiple copies of the app on your device. If you choose to delete an app, however, it is removed from your device, including all icons that point to it. If you want to get it back, you have to redownload it from the App Store.
