Well, there is a very tedious, but good app that is a paid app called WALTR Pro that for Windows users requires that iTunes be present on the computer, but you don’t have to deal with iTunes.
The issue is, the program is not easily dealt with. Because someone else asked for it, I did about an 8 minute demo that I put on my web site of the basics of transferring something to the phone. I use it mostly for transferring zipped audio or just mp3 files to Voice Dream Reader. But I have used it for ringtones and it works quickly and easily once you know the steps. I created a Demos page off my main page.
