Hi Anthony, if you go to a persons contact that you would like to put in the VIP area, there is a place to add them as a VIP member. What this will do is when you receive an email from them, it will send you an alert or notification stating that you have email. I use this because I want a notification from a select few people, and those are the only notifications I get from my mail app.
