AIRA does definitely have some advantages over be my eyes. Lately I've found an invaluable use for them. We have this new expensing system at work where we have to code our travel expenses each month. We use S A P Concur and the app is accessible. Part of what we have to do is upload our receipts to the app. When I get a receipt I just call an AIRA agent. They can take a picture of the receipt and email it to me. Then, at months end when expenses are due I need only upload the electronic receipts instead of trying to capture them on my own using the phones camera.
