Hi, to confirm for jailbroken users, yes, there is a way to hide the
news stand folder. Springtomize does this, as well as various other
tweaks from Cydia.

Hi,
May I suggest that you simply move that folder to your last page and forget
about it. You can't delete it and you can't put it into another folder
either as far as I know.

Newsstand is a special folder, that's unable to be moved into another folder
without some sort of trick that will most likely crash your springboard.

Sieghard or anyone:
Can you move a folder into a folder? I would get rid of News Stand that way
if it were possible.

I just move all apps I don't really use to the last page of apps, for
example, if you have apps and folders on 3 pages, just move all the stock
apps you don't want to use onto the fourth page. Alternatively, you could
create a folder and call it "Unused Apps" or something like that. That is
not the same as completely hiding or deleting it, but I find it just as
good.

Sieghard
