If I'm out and about, I'll take a portable power bank with me. I usually have my power banks in a case, so I have either a short lightning to USB cable, or short lightning to USBC cable to easily connect to my iPhone and the charging begins. It works very well for me. I do have a magsafe case, but I don't use it all that much because magsafe charging is way to slow for me, although it does work.
