What is key in reporting issues, is that Apple receives reports from lots of different people. Multiple reports from the same person on the same issue does nothing but take up time. If only a handful of people are reporting an issue, it could be something with their particular setup so Apple won't prioritize that.
However, if lots of different people report the same issue, then it is clear to them it is not an isolated issue. Just my thoughts.
