Does it have a home button if it does you do a reset by pressing and holding the home button and the power button together until the screen lights up if it does if it doesn't have a home button I'm not sure how you reset it I used to have an iPhone 5s and it used to do that to me all the time and that gesture usually worked to restore it have you tried putting it on the charger and leaving it there for a few minutes sometimes it takes a few minutes for the phone to get enough power to turn back on again
