It is only a matter of time until SIM trays and physical SIM cards disappear 
entirely and it can't be soon enough for me. As long as there is a mechanism in 
lace which allows for transferring eSIMs not just between iPhones but also 
between iPhones and Android phones there is really no good reason for SIM 
cards. They might be very small, but manufacturing them, distributing them and 
all that takes up resources, there is packaging and eventually Billions of them 
end up in our landfills and oceans.
