I have one and I really like it and if this one ever dies on me, I would buy another one but I’d have to save up for that first so the long answer is save up first then buy it unless there are installment plans which I don’t think there are I had to save up for my Apple Watch Ultra locally I still have AppleCare for it and I pay $4.99 a month for AppleCare. Bought it for my birthday this year.

Subject more or less says it. We are considering upgrading from our Apple Watch series 5 to the series 9 and I do like the idea of the features and battery life of the Ultra, but not sure if I would like the size.

Anybody who bought the Apple Watch Ultra last year, do you regret getting such a large watch?

Ultimately it comes down to putting one on my wrist which unfortunately isn't so easy because the nearest Apple Store to where we live is about 700 miles away in Vancouver. There are a couple of stores who sell the Apple Watch here mostly in connection with a carrier plan, but none of these stores stocks an Ultra. But Facebook to the rescue, I just posted on one of our local "Ask a question" type groups if anybody here had one and would be willing to let me put it on my wrist and I received an answer within 15 minutes.

Of course it helps also that we live in a town with a population of 5000 where if you live in town nothing is far away, then there is the fact that I have had my retail business on Main Street for 23 years and that I am the only blind guy with a guide dog in town and just everybody at least knows me by sight if not by name. Anyways, one of my customers will stop by tomorrow to show me his, but still I am curious what other Voiceover users have to say about especially if you may have had a regular Apple Watch before and upgraded to an Ultra last year.

Take care,

Sieghard
