I guess I never ran into this, because I always manually locked the phone while listening, and unlock it before continuing or, I use the pause play button on my headphones. Or, wake up the phone and do the two finger double tap. But in all my experiences, no book has jumped back to the beginning.
Please detail the steps and include the book name and number and send that to NLS. If there is a bug, they won't be able to isolate it without good information.
