Good Morning Jenny et al,
I agree with Chuck, it isn’t an issue with the version of iOS. I have two
iPhones (iPhone 8 & iPhone SE3) with iOS 16 running on the 8 and iOS 17 on the
SE. Both iPhones manifest serious issues with the Walmart app. This causes me
to conclude that the Walmart web pages have undergone some changes that poorly
interface with their app. Several of the problems I’m experiencing follow:
A) executing a search readily notes the first item, but subsequent items are
terribly inconvenient to observe. I find that if I move to the bottom of the
“Search Results” dialog and flick up I’m able to observe subsequent items; but
this must be done repeatedly to get to the second, third, fourth, etc. items.
Absolutely unacceptable.
B) Activating the “My Items” tab is terribly flaky as well. The “Fresh
Produce” heading and subsequent such items show up readily and switching my
rotor to “Headings” and appropriately flicking does navigate to the “Dairy”
heading with the items readily listed. However, trying to use the heading
search subsequently results in a “No Headings Found” message despite the
presence of several additional headings. This is yet another unacceptable
issue with the app.
There may well be additional issues with the app and I must admit that I
haven’t tried using the web page from my Mac, but these issues are manifest in
both iOS 16 and iOS 17 and obviously iOS 18. I find it very unlikely the
problem lies in the iOS versions; rather it is most likely the result of some
terribly uninformed web page modification. I also have sent an e-mail to
walmart technical support (last Wednesday) with absolutely no response. I
strongly suggest that anyone having these issues with the Walmart app likewise
send an e-mail to Walmart’s technical support, the EMA follows:
[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>
NOTE: I’ve CC’ed this message to the above address as well; Walmart needs to
realize that this issue is seriously adversely affecting a substantial customer
base.
