I use Pure Talk which is not one of the major ones. By purchasing it from
them, it'll come ready to connect to their network. Then I can go to Best Buy
to have them help me transfer stuff over.

Is it a discount or are you just paying it off over time?

FYI, all new iPhones in the United states come with eSim. I don’t' think they
even have a sim card tray, though I have not checked on the 16 pro.

OK. So I can’t remember if this phone has an eSIM or not. It’s a 10 R. I
suppose the new ones have already in them, so the only question would be
getting my number changed over to that one from this one, and I have some vague
memory of some kind of online process you could do for that. I don’t remember
though. There’s no reason for me to go through the carrier, as this 10 are
isn’t going to be worth very much of anything.
Better to keep it around as a spare, plus I still have barred books I need to
get off of here by reading them. I wish that bar books would be transferred to
your new phone when you get it, but they’re not. Or at least they weren’t back
in the day, and I assume they still are not. Sent from my iPhone
