I have checked it by turning Voiceover off on my watch after I start the workout and then I also get the announcement. Once again, I find it incredibly annoying why Apple thinks that a blind person using Voiceover would not want to have this announcement. I don’t care if Siri announces it or if in our case Voiceover would announce it, but to simply not have it say anything is just silly.
