And just as a final thought, when I started using a wireless charger which can deliver the maximum power of 15 Watts or now of course that went up to 25 Watts for the iPhone 16 family was like switching from ADSL to Fiber internet, once you have it and use it you will never want to go back. I don't think I'll upgrade my wireless charging stands any time soon to models which can deliver the full 25 Watts because we have two at home and I have 1 in my office so it would be an expensive upgrade just to get a little faster charging and I am already quite happy with how fast it is with 15 Watts and as I said beforem, if I really need faster, I can always use a USB-C cable with one of my wall adapters which are capable of delivering 140 Watts for fast charging a laptop or 100 Watts on the other two ports so plenty more than needed for even getting 30 Watts fast charging out of them for my iPhone 16 Pro.

For me that small difference is generally not worth dealing with cables and all that, maybe if I know I only have 20 minutes before I go out and I really want the absolute maximum charge in that time I may plug it in, otherwise just sticking it to my wireless charging stand is perfectly fine. According to the specs it says you can charge an iPhone 13 Pro from basically nothing to 50% in 30 minutes with a sufficiently powerful wall adapter and USB-C cable, for an iPhone 13 Pro Max with its larger battery it would take a bit longer. I had an iPhone 13 Pro until my recent upgrade to a 16 Pro and I always found that if I was down to say 20% or 25% and I put it on my wireless charger for half an hour I was usually up around 70% so even at 15 Watt wireless charging it's still quite fast. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Joshua Hendrickson Sent: Tuesday, October 22, 2024 2:57 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: I'm replacing my iPhone 8 Wireless charging is to slow for me.
